Clean up!

De-cluttering is a key productivity tool but it’s also an essential life fulfillment tool. Decide what clutter needs to be removed and see the unpolluted path ahead. Without this clean living the navigation of obstacles will potentially draw on time and energy – two precious resources. Successful people de-clutter emotionally, psychologically and physically – regularly. It’s time to pave the way to success by spring-cleaning your life. When heading in a valued direction clear the passageway to your destination. Like a pregnant woman who knows the baby is coming she gets to work and spring-cleans the house, we too need to get to work and go through every area of life and get sorted! In order to move forward ensure the environment is right. Getting really organised is paramount. When there is an obstacle in the way, you have to go around it, climb over it, go under it or move it — all productivity suckers. Clear the barriers to success and fulfillment. Identify the physical, mental and emotional clutter and remove it once and for all. Write the list. But make sure you finish cleaning up one mess before you start on another as sometimes the act of cleaning…

A clear vision

Planning is important – essential to move us from Point A to Point B. A problem occurs when we make plans, decide what we want but never get to our destination. So what’s the secret? The secret is traction — traction is the key to getting to Point B. And the way to get traction is to have a clear vision. A clear vision keeps you focused on your destination — gaining momentum all the way. We still doubt at times that we are on the right path however the trick is not to let this doubt reduce your traction. When I left my 12-year career in real estate in 2011, I put my head down and did the work needed to establish my new career as a leader in transformation. On this new path I did question if the direction I was going in was the right one. The road seems longer when it’s untravelled and that can make it hard to find traction. I focused on gaining momentum quickly so that self-doubt wouldn’t paralyse me. And I appointed the best True Believers tribe to guide and support me. When we have a clear vision of what the road…

The new success formula

Many people start each year with dreams, set goals, but finish with no real change in their life satisfaction. Goal setting is just not enough. I’ve been in business for 25 years – accomplished at setting and achieving goals. I helped teams do the same — this high achievement took me on stage sharing tips for highly productive teams, high achievements, high incomes and good profits. As well as my own high achievement I managed to fit in quality time with family, friends and for myself. It looked perfect, but something was missing. I was still not fulfilled. Feeling a little disillusioned, I decided to write a list. Not a goals list this time. This was a new list of what I truly valued — what I was passionate about, what was really important. This list was different. I discovered through this life changing exercise: • If you want achievement set goals. • If you want achievement and fulfilment write a Values List and set Value-based Directions. This discovery in 2011 became one of my greatest tipping points. This then became my life work – to share the new transformational success formula – finding the solutions to having both achievement…

Wishing wells

Do you sometimes wish for a better life — that your current reality is different — and hope that someday things might change? Problems can arise when our wishing and hoping becomes a habit of inaction that keeps us in fantasyland. Wishing can become like a waiting game and those who wish wait longer than those who decide and take action. Wishing can be a place to hide from the work that needs to be done to live your best life. It doesn’t mean we don’t wish. It just means we need to take the next step, to decide and to take action to make our wishes a reality — to take responsibility. We decide to get the things done that matter — the things we really desire. When you think or say “I wish”, or “I hope” or “I’m dreaming of the day”, remind yourself that few wishes, hopes or dreams come true without action. Instead say, “I have decided” or “I will”. And although belief is the first step towards making those wishes come true, belief is also essential to drive you to the finish line. Without belief we can’t get moving, as belief is what gives the…
